Compatibilities:

All Sun Microsystems parts are known by at least two numbers, the X-Option number and the Part number. The best way to find out what part you have is the BarCode. Every part that Sun Microsystems sells has a Sun bar-code. This bar-code has both the part number and serial number of the part. (The X-Option number is not located on the part.) Notes:

1. The minimum OS is Solaris 8 2/02 or Solaris 9 12/02.
2. The minimum recommended OBP is 4.5 Version 21.
   OBP 4.5 Version 19 will work on Sun Fire 280R.
3. Mixing module speeds is not supported.
4. If only one CPU module is installed, it must be in Slot 0, and Slot 1 should be covered with a CPU Shroud Cover.
5. Use torque tool 340-6091 or 340-6395 to install this module.
   Both are calibrated to 5.0 +/- 0.5 in/lbs (.565 Nm).
6. A torque tool is included with systems that use this module.
7. Netra 20 requires LomLite2 Alarm Module 501-6543.
8. Sun Fire 280R requires Fan Tray 540-5088, Option 9820.
9. Modules 501-6485, 501-6745, 501-6690, and 501-6750 use the same components.
10. Safari bus frequency margining during hot functional testing is at 155.0MHz.
